The Blackhawks were going really strong this year but, alas, tonight they lost to our bitter rivals, the Detroit Red Wings, and have been bumped out of the running for the Stanley Cup. Well, I guess we'll have another chance next year.

So, hockey season for the Blackhawks are over for now and will start again next fall.

On the upside, I can focus all my sporting attention to the Cubs now....

In case you have been wondering (though I doubt anyone was ), I have been trying my hand over at blogger and have been miserably failing. I keep creating a blog, then deleting it. Creating another one, then deleting it! I have trouble keeping blogs over there.

And most of my days have consisted of watching my nephews. Right now, I'm sick! (My parents keep joking that I have the Swine Flu, but I doubt that and I wouldn't get vaccinated even if I did! ).
